Buffalo Workers Comp Attorney: Amanda Zafur Esq.

Amanda Zafur joined the Law Office of Kathryn M. Kirsch as an experienced attorney in 2018. Originally from Toronto, Ontario Ms. Zafur graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts Honors in Political Science. Ms. Zafur moved to Buffalo, New York to attend law school. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 2012.

She was admitted to practice law in New York in 2013, and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York in 2014. She is a member of the Erie County Bar Association and the Minority Bar Association of Western New York. Ms. Zafur has dedicated much of her practice to assisting injured workers navigate the often confusing Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability process, and is committed to zealously advocating for the rights of her clients. She also has experience in the areas of Family Law, Matrimonial Law, Personal Injury, and Criminal Law.

Outside of work, Ms. Zafur served on the Executive Committee of the BISON Children's Scholarship Fund's President's Council from 2015 to 2019, and served a one year term on the BISON Children's Scholarship Fund's Board of Directors from 2017 to 2018. Ms. Zafur was elected to serve as a Class Chair of the 2017 Leadership Buffalo Rising Leaders. She remains involved with Leadership Buffalo in support of its mission to make Buffalo better.
